Artist Statement
This collection of photos is meant to highlight specific color(s) and also for the most part, people from different walks of life. The colored building introduces a multitude of colors as it serves as a color palette for the rest of the pictures, making them come to life. The psychology of colors is fascinating as it could guide the way we interpret what the people were thinking in that moment and/or going in the moment.
Bio
From an immigrant family studying at the University of California, Berkeley, Kelvin is an aspiring Chinese American photographer whose interest lies in urban and street photography. He plans on traveling to different cities while learning and immersing himself in the culture where his images could be reflective of his experience.
